19 participants from 18 countries have been present in the Textranet GA which took place today in Porto, included in the annual program of CITEVE’s 20º anniversary.

The GA approved the start of the interlaboratorial testing in the field of fire testing, to be developed, towards the possible definition of a harmonised European directive in such type of testing. The ITA-RWTH institute from Aachen was admitted as a full new member of Textranet in this GA, which clearly contributes to reinforce the knowledge strength of the network; The European Technology Platform (ETP) was another important topic of the meeting, with Lutz Walter presenting the latest developments and information regarding the ETP, important calls for proposals and upcoming events.
